Tena tatou katoa,
Term four has come at a steaming pace and it's nearly come to an end with Christmas just around the corner and warmer weather.
Maths:
This term we focussed on Financial Literacy, money, money, money and our school Gala Day coming up on Friday 1st December. Today we had Garry from the ASB Financial Literacy team showing us a game about savings and spending with a running theme of 'Save Some, Spend Some'.
Literacy:
We focused on Persuasive Language with an essay about 'Is Music More Important Sport' this was the essay given to all schools in our Bay of Islands cluster of schools. Personally as a musician and a former rep Touch player, this was a hard choice for me to write about as you can imagine.
Maori:
Te Reo reading, writing and speaking was a component for our language studies with the students reading and speaking confidently, but writing, yes this was a little harder for most in our class.
